Resource Concern/Issues:
Low water bridge has caused a mid-stream bar to form due to a modification of river flow over decades of existence/obstruction. The stream has become laterally unstable, aggrading, degrading and contains bank erosion.

Project Objectives:

  • Floodplain and bench construction and enhancements

  • Creation of new channel

  • Introduction of buffer plantings and removal of invasive species

  • Removal of low water bridge and implementation of a water ford
